Signet Bank has provided EUR 1.3 million in financing to short-term car rental company EasyCars. The financing will be used to expand the company’s vehicle fleet, strengthening its operational capacity and increasing vehicle availability for customers at Riga and Tallinn airports.

The financing will enable EasyCars to expand its rental fleet and continue developing its services in one of the key segments of the car rental market – serving airport customers. The company provides short-term car rental services at both Riga and Tallinn airports, covering two major passenger traffic hubs in the Baltic region.

“We believe that car rental is about more than simply handing over a vehicle – it is often one of the first experiences that shapes a visitor’s impression of our country. Operating at Riga Airport, we are frequently among the first service providers travelers encounter after a long flight. That is why we want to welcome them with professional and responsive service, giving them confidence that they will have an enjoyable journey throughout Latvia. 2026 is an important year of growth for EasyCars – in cooperation with Signet Bank, we have expanded our fleet with new, high-quality vehicles and launched operations in Tallinn. The financing enables us to continue investing in our development, strengthen our position in the Baltic market, and enhance the customer experience. Our goal is to become one of the most trusted car rental companies in the Baltics,” says Arnis Daģis, Director of EasyCars.

“Ambitious local companies with the ability to grow beyond a single market are an important part of the Baltic region’s economic development. EasyCars’ growth demonstrates how targeted investment and a clear vision for development can enable companies to steadily strengthen their presence across the region. Signet Bank’s role is to be a partner to businesses at these stages of growth, providing the capital needed to realize their ambitions and build long-term competitiveness through both lending and capital markets financing,” says Ineta Done, Member of the Management Board at Signet Bank.
