On 17 November 2021, SEB will hold a digital event where we will outline SEB’s sustainability strategy going forward, including new ambitions and goals within the climate area, and our role in supporting our customers in the transition to a more sustainable future. At the event, titled Accelerating change – partnering for a sustainable transition, we will also explore how collaboration and partnerships between business, politics and society can drive the transformation.

Media and analysts are, along with customers, shareholders, investors and other interested parties, invited to listen in to the event, which will be held in English. It will be broadcast on 17 November 2021 at 15:00–15:00 (Latvia time) at sebgroup.com/accelerating, where a replay will be available afterwards.

After the event, at 18:15 (Latvia time), SEB’s President and CEO Johan Torgeby and SEB’s Chief Sustainability Officer Hans Beyer will be available for a Q&A session with analysts. Speakers and participants

Marcus Wallenberg, Chair of SEB’s Board of Directors, will open the event. SEB’s President and CEO Johan Torgeby will present SEB’s sustainability strategy going forward, including new ambitions and goals. Other speakers include Hans Beyer, SEB’s Chief Sustainability Officer, and Elisabet Jamal Bergström, Head of Sustainability at SEB Investment Management, who together with heads of SEB’s divisions will outline how they work with sustainability today and what their focus will be going forward.

The event will also feature a discussion about the future of fossil fuels, in which SEB’s President and CEO Johan Torgeby, Fortum’s CEO Markus Rauramo, Aker’s CEO Øyvind Eriksen and Jakob König from Fair Finance Guide will participate. Other speakers at the event include Sweden’s chief climate negotiator Mattias Frumerie, who will provide insights from the then recently concluded UN Climate Change Conference COP26 in Glasgow, and Sweden’s Minister for Financial Markets Åsa Lindhagen.
